UN-RIAS Annual Report 2024 is now available

The United Nations Representatives of Internal Audit Services (UN-RIAS) is pleased to announce the publication of its 2024 Annual Report.

The report provides a comprehensive overview of UN-RIAS activities throughout the year, including highlights from the annual meeting held in Geneva, Switzerland, and updates from five active working groups focused on Cybersecurity, Strategic Risks, Innovation, Internal Audit Impact, and Global Internal Audit Standards.

Key achievements in 2024 include:

• Advancing methodologies for strategic risk audits and maturity assessments.
• Benchmarking best practices in artificial intelligence and data analytics for internal audit.
• Launching new platforms for knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• Exchanging experiences on the implementation of the new Global Internal Audit Standards.

The report also details the evolving leadership structure, collaborative initiatives, and the successful launch of the new UN-RIAS knowledge platform, which will serve as a central repository for audit reports and resources.
